Pay across borders like it’s local.

LumaPay is a Canadian money services business, registered with FINTRAC under MSB number N300000964. We give businesses one platform for multi-currency accounts, foreign exchange and international business payments, so money crosses borders with the speed and visibility of a domestic transfer.

Security and compliance come first in cross-border finance, so they come first here. Client money sits in segregated accounts at regulated partner banks. Every business is verified before it transacts, and every payment is screened in real time. The rest of the platform exists to remove friction: local account details instead of correspondent banking, one live rate instead of a hidden markup, and one dashboard instead of five bank logins.

From application to spending in five steps.

Everything happens inside the LumaPay client portal.

Apply in minutes

Send us your business profile and complete KYB and AML verification online. KYB means “know your business”: we check the company, its directors and anyone who owns 25% or more of it. Once approved, your dedicated multi-currency accounts are live and ready to receive funds, and an account manager is assigned to you.

See every balance in one view

Watch cash move across all your currencies in real time. Incoming payments, outgoing transfers and the liquidity in each account sit side by side, so you know your position before you decide to convert, pay or hold.

Settle funds like a local

Pay suppliers, contractors and partners across Canada, the UK, Europe, the US and Australia. Where a domestic rail exists, such as ACH, SEPA, Faster Payments or Interac, your payment travels as a local transfer. That cuts out the banks in the middle, each of which would take a fee, and gives you a settlement time you can plan around.

Exchange at live rates

Convert between currencies at institutional rates, with the full price shown before you confirm. Quotes hold for a short window, your fees are set in your fee schedule up front, and there is no spread hidden inside the rate.

Spend globally. Stay in control.

Issue virtual and physical LumaPay commercial debit cards to your team for travel, software and supplier spend. Set a limit per card, see each transaction the moment it is approved, and pay in the local currency without a foreign transaction fee.

Cross-border payments across global corridors.

Operate in the markets where your clients and suppliers are.

LumaPay serves businesses moving money between Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States and Australia. New markets open only after our compliance team has assessed and approved them, and we never serve sanctioned jurisdictions.

Online retailers and marketplaces

Collect sales in USD, EUR and GBP into local account details, then pay sellers and suppliers abroad over domestic rails instead of international wires.

Freight and logistics firms

Pay carriers, forwarders and overseas agents across our corridors, and follow every payment from initiation to the carrier’s account.

Software and technology companies

Invoice clients abroad in their currency, get paid as a local business, and pay distributed teams and contractors from the same platform.

Agencies and professional services

Bill international clients in their own currency and see income and outgoings in every currency side by side, without a separate bank account in each market.

Payment and digital asset firms

Regulated payment, FX and remittance companies and digital asset platforms settling between fiat and stablecoins, onboarded with enhanced due diligence.

One platform.
Regulated rails. Digital settlement.

LumaPay combines regulated multi-currency rails with stablecoin settlement, so your business can move capital across borders without stitching together banks, FX brokers and crypto venues yourself.

Supported markets and corridors: domestic clearing rails, institutional FX liquidity and competitive spreads across Canada, the UK, the EU, the US and Australia.

Who sits behind the platform.

LumaPay works only with licensed banking and payment partners.

  • Accounts and IBANs

Regulated banking and electronic money institutions provide the multi-currency accounts and virtual IBANs.

  • FX pricing

Institutional liquidity providers price FX across our five currencies.

  • Settlement and conversion

Established local and international payment rails carry settlement, and regulated digital-asset venues handle stablecoin conversion.

  • Compliance

On the compliance side, independent providers run KYB and KYC identity verification, sanctions, PEP and adverse-media screening (PEP means a politically exposed person, someone whose public role carries a higher bribery risk), ongoing transaction monitoring and blockchain analytics.

Canadian regulatory counsel reviews the program.

Partners are named publicly once agreements are formalized.

Real-time visibility across every currency balance.

The LumaPay client portal is your treasury workspace. Monitor balances in every currency, send and receive payments, convert at live rates and track cash flow, with a full transaction history and export-ready reports for your accountant and your compliance file. Access is granted once onboarding is complete, and every sign-in needs multi‑factor authentication.

Your questions, answered.

Clear answers on multi-currency accounts, international business payments and compliance. If yours isn’t here, our team is happy to help.

Ask our team
  • A multi‑currency business account lets a company hold, receive and pay in more than one currency from a single account relationship. With LumaPay you get local account details in CAD, USD, EUR, GBP and AUD, so a client in Germany pays you by SEPA and a client in Texas pays you by ACH, and both land in accounts in your business’s name.

  • LumaPay is a registered money services business that gives companies multi‑currency accounts, institutional foreign exchange and cross‑border payments in one platform, with conversion between fiat and selected stablecoins as an extra. Once your business is verified, you hold, convert and send money from the LumaPay client portal.

  • LumaPay is registered as a money services business with FINTRAC in Canada (MSB No. N300000964) and works with regulated electronic money institutions and licensed payment providers in the UK and Europe. Every client passes KYB, AML and sanctions checks, and payments are monitored in real time. MSB registration is not a regulator’s endorsement and not a banking licence; our Regulatory Disclosures explain how each service is provided.

  • Registered businesses in the markets we serve. Every application goes through onboarding and compliance checks. Some sectors need additional review and some are not eligible; our Acceptable Use Policy sets out which.

  • LumaPay supports businesses moving money between Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States and Australia. We open new markets only after our compliance team has assessed and approved them, and we never serve sanctioned jurisdictions.

  • You fund the payment from one of your currency balances, convert at the live rate if the payee’s currency is different, and we route it over the destination country’s domestic rail, such as SEPA for euros or ACH for US dollars. The payee receives a local transfer, you see each stage in the portal, and there are no correspondent banks in the middle taking a cut.

  • Tell us about your business at support@lumapay.net. Our onboarding team will walk you through the next steps, the documents you’ll need and the expected timeline.

  • Sending your details takes minutes. Approval then depends on your documents and the verification your business needs. Our onboarding team gives you a timeline as your application progresses.

  • Rates come from institutional liquidity in real time, and you see the full rate before you convert. Each quote is held for a short window, typically 15 to 60 seconds, and a conversion is final once you confirm it. Fees are agreed up front in your fee schedule.

  • A virtual IBAN is an account number issued in your business’s name that routes payments to your LumaPay account. Clients and marketplaces pay it as they would any local account, and you can issue different virtual IBANs to see which customer or platform each payment came from.

  • It depends on the currency, the rail and each bank’s cut‑off times. Where a domestic rail such as ACH, SEPA, Faster Payments or Interac is available, your payment travels as a local transfer, and you can follow it in the client portal until it settles.

  • Email support@lumapay.net with the payment reference. Our team will check where it is and tell you what happens next.

  • It depends how far it has progressed. A payment that hasn’t been approved or processed may still be stopped. A currency conversion is final once you confirm it, so contact support as soon as you can, with the reference.

  • Email support@lumapay.net for help with your account or a payment, and compliance@lumapay.net for compliance questions.

  • We convert between fiat and selected stablecoins, such as USDC, as an addition to our core account, FX and payment services. What’s available depends on your account, your jurisdiction and the network. Digital assets can lose value and aren’t covered by deposit insurance.

  • The networks open to your account are shown in the client portal. They depend on the asset and the type of transaction.

  • There are two legs: the blockchain network confirming the transfer, and the bank clearing the fiat side through its local system. A compliance review, where one is needed, adds time. You can follow each conversion in the client portal.
